Live Poker Events Europe 2026 – Tournaments, Trips & Destinations

Choosing a live poker event

Start with the full festival schedule rather than the headline tournament. Buy-in range, side events, starting flights and the number of days you can realistically play all matter. A smaller festival with several suitable events can be a better trip than a famous stop built around one tournament outside your budget.

Venue and destination matter too. Short transfers, walkable hotels and things to do away from the tables can make a major difference, especially if your tournament ends earlier than planned.

Poker destinations across Europe

Europe has established poker destinations in the Mediterranean, the Baltics, Central Europe and major city hubs. Some attract large international fields; others offer smaller regional festivals and a more relaxed trip.

We will not try to become a database of every tournament. Our focus is on selected events with verifiable official information and a destination strong enough to justify dedicated travel coverage.

Build a realistic trip budget

Tournament buy-ins are only one part of the cost. Flights or driving, accommodation, food, local transport and side events should all be in the same budget before you book.

It also helps to plan for time away from poker. A free afternoon or an extra night can turn a tournament visit into a better trip without requiring another buy-in.

Satellites and online qualifiers

Online satellites can provide routes into larger live events, but availability varies by operator, country and campaign. Rockabilly Casino only shows a commercial qualifier link when the operator, market and affiliate destination have been checked for that audience.

An international page is not proof that an offer is available everywhere. Excluded territories and local restrictions still apply, so our event guides separate verified market access from general editorial information.

From hub to event guide

This page is the starting point for deeper event coverage. Individual guides can then focus on dates, venue, schedule, travel and verified qualifier routes without overloading the main hub.

Battle of Malta is our first international event guide in the plan, while the Swedish section develops its own coverage around events relevant to Swedish readers. Each time-sensitive guide should be rechecked against official sources as the event approaches.
